Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore
The winner of Asia's Best MICE Hotel competition in 2011 and 2012 is Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore. This great project dominates with three huge towers and a boat-shape platform on top, known as the Skypark. The hotel has 18 different accommodation facilities and a total of 2,561 rooms!
With the 120,000 square-meters convention-exhibition centre area and accommodating up to 45,000 people ,the 74,000 square-meters area of the 280 brand stores, the lotus shape ArtScience Museum, two large theatres, an ice skating rink, and a 150 meter long magnificent swimming pool in 207 meters height, Marina Bay Sands Hotel is set to the top of the world's luxury hotels.
The project is designed by Moshe Safdie , the Canadian architect, and the structural engineer was ARUP engineering group . The start of the construction was in 2007 and it is completed by the end of 2010.The construction cost was about $3.85 billion.
